Life is Short...remembering Beckie

Today I am attending my favorite cousin's funeral. I know some of you reading this have watched my My Space page and had sent me notes of good wishes & prayers after I told you of her battle against cancer last April. I want to thank you all for your prayers, support and all of your kind words. Yes I read them and yes I was touched. I guess it didn't surprise me to read that so many of you had also someone close to you in this same boat. I hope and pray your loved ones are at home, safe and happy now. Do any of you have a relative that is as close or closer than a sister? Well that's how I felt about Beckie. I will miss her so very much! She was funny, smart, a smart ass and very loved.

Life can toss you so many curve balls can't it? The very same day that I was notified about Beckie's passing, I was up North house hunting with my daughter, I had put an offer on a great home at 2pm and it was accepted at 3pm! I was so excited!!! Then the call came....It was a very emotional day is all I can say.
My mother and son are meeting me at the funeral home at 10am. I guess I should get in the shower and get a move on. Life is short...love the people in your life while you have them. You never know what tomorrow will bring. I love you Beckie. :(

Oh Quinn I am so sorry. My own mother is currently battling cancer and is on home hospice. My heart breaks for you. I try my best to find blessings every day though through the pain. I hope that you can find a blessing yourself.

Aunt Quinn it was so nice seeing you today at Beckie's services and at the house. Beckie really was an inspiring, beautiful woman, and a wonderful Aunt. My only regret is that I didn't see her as often as I could. As I'm getting older I'm beginning to realize how important family is and keeping in touch. In some aspects I feel I've been robbed of the opportunity to get to know a lot of my dad's side of the family. I would love to get to know you & Colin better and keep in touch if you would like to. Best wishes in your move and the job search.

Quinn,
So sorry about your loss of Beckie. She was a wild and crazy lady who always made me laugh. Even when she tried to get me to TP someone's house. You always knew where you stood with her.I am happy she lived long enough to see her new grandbabies.:)But she passed way too young. She will be missed by many.Good luck on your move.God bless...

Quinn, I am so sorry for your loss. I helped my mother take care of my stepfather during his illness and we lost him in 2006.
I hate to intrude but no one has answered the reason for you no longer being on the OC. We really miss you. Why did you leave? The new ones do not get it at all! They are fake and it is not entertaining at all. Good luck on your move. Perhaps BRAVO will begin a new show in you new area?? I will be praying for you and your family.

I'm sorry for your loss. I totally can relate about having something good happen and then getting devastating news right after. Cancer is horrible - I hate. My father died and my husband is battling it again. I pray one day cancer will be like the common cold - that easy to get ride of.

I MISS YOU QUINN!!!

Last night i was watching the last episode of Real Housewives of Orange County Confess...and i was so disappointed with some of the Housewives...what (w)itches! I use to really love Vicky, but something happened to her when she started hanging out with Tamra...just my opinion...anyway, i was just thinking "man, i miss really miss Quinn!" Then for the heck of it, i went online to see if i could find out what you've been doing. They really needed you on the show this year!

I also missed your Christian stance on dating; Quinn, i knew what you were going through! I also admired you taking a stand with your boyfriend's on getting married, if i had done that earlier in my life, it could have been a LOT EASIER!

I'm so sorry to hear about your cousin Becky. My uncle died two years ago and he was an atheist and as much as i tried, he refused to ask Christ into his life. I will never understand why.

God bless you, and it's nice to hear your doing well.

Dear Quinn, your blog is as boring as you were on screen. No wonder tbey dumped you!

Delete this piece of shit, waste of time. No one cares about you---the most forgettable castmember of all time.

This blog, very much like yourself, is a waste of space. LUCKILY, this blog is a whole lot thinner than you could ever be.
